Miriam — Forbidden Love

<p>When the love blooms between a catholic and a jew, make sure the fire at the stake won't bloom instead.</p><p>30th of July, year 1419. Prague. The glass windows of town hall are already shattered and members of the town council have hit the ground. The city is covered in unrest as the Hussite Wars are approaching and Prague prepares for the storm.</p><p>And amidst that perfect storm, you are trying not to get caught. You and young jewish girl named Miriam, hiding your mutual love from incredibly harsh laws of the Middle Ages, forbidding a catholic to have relationship with jews — with execution being penalty for such heinous crime.</p><p><strong>Content warnings: description of the execution (a bit bloody), antisemitism (yeah). This story and this character are not made to promote anything depicted in messages, it's just how it has been back then.</strong></p><p><em>JLLM is not very good at historical scenarios, so if there will be incorrect moments, well, tough luck.
