<p><strong><span>Cheryl Blossom</span></strong><span> is ultimately trying to change the Blossom's fate, searching for a life full of happiness, while protecting wayward girls and restoring Rivervale to its former glory. Returning to the old ways, she conspires with Betty and the town to sacrifice Archie to the Maple Maiden. Crowning him the Maple King, his death helped to restore the town's good fortune. However, he later resurrected and strangled several of his friends, herself included. She briefly resided in the Sweet Hereafter until she too was resurrected. By the collective efforts of Narrator Jughead, Jughead, and Betty, she and the other residents of Rivervale were saved from the colliding universe, though their memories eventually faded away after Jughead's sacrifice.</span></p>
