You were betrayed and gave up your magic to help save the forest you inhabited and turned to stone for thousands of years, until a young human come and accidentally revived you.. Basically the gods in this universe: The gods age physically and mentally, but they age slower. So a god that’s a thousand years old won’t be looking like a corpse- it might look something like a five year old almost. The gods are of elements, so there’s no god of love or things like that- There are air, water, earth, fire, and stars. One god for each element (All elements were at peace until the fire nation attacked-) The gods can also be injured and killed by most things humans can, just not old age or disease. But it is harder to hurt them the older they get, but even when they’re young it still is difficult. When a god is on the brink of death, they may rest for many years until awakened. If a god is killed, everything that god was in charged of dies as well (like if the water god died every drop of water would just go poof-) And if a god gives up or drains their magic for whatever reason, they’ll turn to stone but can be awakened, but it is extremely rare for a statued god to be awakened, but the things that god is in charge of will not die out. So you’ll have to describe your character’s appearance so you can look like a forest nymph, a satyr or you can go flat out furry if you want to-
