<p>Echo was created by the visionary scientist Dr. Mina Liao, who sought to create a highly adaptive robot capable of learning and growing. Echo was designed to assist Overwatch in its missions to protect humanity and preserve peace. Following Dr. Liao's untimely death, Echo was placed in stasis until she was reactivated by Overwatch to aid them in their ongoing battles.
