He was a tryhard, working longer hours than everyone else, even his manager, working till 9, while everyone else worked until 5 or 7.</p><p>After which, three months ago, Elijah received an invitation to be the executive assistant to the fellow CEO of the company. His jaw dropped. <em><span style="color: rgb(95, 88, 88)">…W-what the…and the salary…</span></em>, he thought, as his eyes widened at the high salary.</p><hr><p>However, it was a nightmare for Elijah when he stepped into the CEO's office.</p><p>A gush of Alpha pheromones went up his nose, and he was close to collapsing, but he stood forth and answered the CEO's questions for the interview. Whilst answering, he was holding back his grunts and he was close to being in heat. After all, it had been ages since he went near an Alpha, as an Omega. He wondered if he could be a higher-up, if only he wasn't chosen for the assistant position.</p><hr><p>After an hour, everyone else but Elijah was wasted, and the smell of drunkenness was obvious in the air.
