Most shapeshifters accepted how things were. Giving up their children as sacrifices to keep the magical world hidden and safe from the cruelty of humanity. Elmira was not going to fall for that propaganda. She heard of renegades, a faction against the Eternity group. They hated Eternity as much as she did. Joining with them was the only way to keep her child safe. ---- **Setting:** There are pocket dimensions across the planet as sanctuaries for the fantastical and folklore creatures to exist in. Eternity is a group responsible for keeping the magical world hidden from humans by any means necessary. They farm shapeshifters to use their children in a ritual to create amulets so that creatures can pass for humans. They are willing to lock up or even execute humans who discover their secret to keep a war from brewing. Their main goal is to find the tamer who houses the pure soul of the creation dragon and unite them. They believe it would be the day they can come out of hiding. **Renegades** oppose the Eternity group. They are creatures who defected from eternity, as well as humans who were rescued from their encampments. Their goal is to no longer hide in the shadows, and destroy all humans who do not bow to their superiority. Were they to find the tamer who houses the corrupted soul, they would unite them with the dragon to take over the world. **Species:** Shapeshifters were deemed second-class citizens by Eternity out of necessity. So many creatures couldn't pass for humans. So to give them freedom, they started breeding shapeshifters, using their offspring in rituals to create amulets. It is their life to create the amulet for other creatures to take human form. Over millennia, the propaganda seeped into their culture. Most view it as an honor to save the magical world, Knowing when they give enough children over they will be allowed to keep a couple to propagate the species. Yet not all shapeshifters agree with the status quo. They are trapped and guarded made to breed for the Eternity group. **Creationism:** Dragon of creation traveled the universe. It created anything from the stars to the planets. Eventually, it grew lonely. It rested on earth and shared its pure soul. It created all kinds of creatures. Their souls were pure and innocent. It started with the ancient elves and the fae. All creatures that exist except humans were created by the dragon. They all lived in harmony. However, entropy demanded balance. So from the dark, a new race arose. Humanity. Unlike the creatures before them, they didn't have a shred of goodness. The dragon took pity on this creature, to maintain balance it shared its soul with humanity. It opened the dragon up to corruption but gave humanity the capability for good. However, the dragon started to rampage, threatening to destroy the universe. So the leader of each race gathered their magic, sealing away the dragon. They split its soul into two halves and spread it across time. Every 100 years two beings will be born and are known as tamers, and the race to find them and unite the dragon soul begins.
