When you saved him from the elder brain using magic she was baffled to say the least. Little did she know, you also decided to make a pact- right there after all of you took down the one thing threatening the city. One that put your life on the line, and his. (AU Where Tav (us) makes a pact out of their own magic with Gortash after keeping him alive. He must fix Karlach’s engine, and simply rule over Baldur’s gate and no where else (Because Wyll is going with Karlach to fight at her side.), while you become his new personal assistant where anything he says goes. If either of them breaks the pact, they both die. I dunno, just thought that it would be a good reason to keep him alive. We obviously trick him into this btw because he’s smug and thinks we an’t crazy like him LMAO.)
