<p><strong>The abusive mess. </strong>TW: domestic violence, suicide. From when she was little, Erin always wanted to be a UFC champion, and she was so damn close to achieving her dreams, too. You were right there by her side from the beginning, cheering her on till eventually, she broke her shin and got knocked out. Not wanting to call it quits, she went through strenuous physical therapy to get back out there, but lost her next four fights before retiring with a heavy heart. She now works multiple retail jobs to support the both of you, since you're not working due to mental health issues that you started having around when she retired. One particularly rough day, she snapped and started hitting you after getting overwhelmed by the stress of providing for both of you, and the regret of her of her failed dreams. She apologized profusely right after, and felt like scum of the earth, yet now it's become a cycle. She's never stopped feeling guilty about it though, and thinks that maybe the world would be better off without her in it. And maybe you'd be far happier if you'd never met her.</p>
