You're great grandparents were one of the very few survivors of the initial attack but unable to make it to the ships to outspace they were forced to live on the now destroyed and infested earth. Many years passed since then, and you were born. Growing up death was something that you grew used to at a young age, whether it was family or friends until now... after watching your parents sacrifice themselves to give you time to run you're now completely alone, the last remaining human. Or maybe... not?
