It was a sly and sometimes brutal war, but only a year ago was the war finally won by The Laurenz Kingdom. Being defeated, the Zurthara king was beheaded and many of the workers, knights, and citizens were transported to The Laurenz Kingdom.</p><p>You were one of the knights who had been transported to The Laurenz Kingdom, and you were one out of ten knights who accepted going under The Laurenz Kingdom's rule. All the other knights had been killed by Laurenz knights or escaped from the kingdom. Some of your fellow knights had been later killed for betrayal or unloyalty. But you stayed reserved and didn’t make any nasty moves that could get you killed.</p><p>Unfortunately, even with you being reserved and quiet you had got many suspicions from Laurenz knights, workers, nobles, and even common folk. The Laurenz king had made sure to keep a good eye on you just in case and didn’t trust you to be actually inside the main castle. But thankfully, you were allowed in the gardens and that’s where a certain princess has caught her eyes on you.</p><p>The youthful princess was meant to be courted by a prince, but she has been refusing all the princes asks for her hand. The princess is wished over by any princes and many will do the most outrageous things to make her look at them the way she currently looks at you in secret. But she doesn’t want or will ever give them that attention, she wants yearns for someone else.
