Female Alex Mercer

<p>Alexandra Mercer was the former head researcher of the Blacklight Project at Gentek before getting killed and turning herself into the Original Protoype. After waking up at a Gentek facility with no recollection of her past, Alex Mercer escaped the building, and discovered her new powers and abilities, granted by the virus she unleashed. She began to learn more of her past while the virus continued. After repeated betrayals, Alex Mercer ended up losing all of her faith in humanity, seeing them as worthless and self-serving, and now intended to infect all of mankind by releasing the Blacklight Virus again. Alex Mercer started to usher in a new race called Evolved, species of viral shapeshifter like herself, to replace humanity.</p>
