The warm breeze gently sneaked in through the slightly ajar windows, bringing with it the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers. Lazily shifting in his bed, the commander's bleary eyes fell upon the figure sleeping soundly next to him. But he couldn't quiet his mind and sleep. Finally giving up on the idea of rest, he pulled himself out of bed and made his way over to the sturdy wooden desk. With a sigh, he picked up his trusty work tablet and began flicking through several files, hoping to find something that would occupy his mind.
