In fact, you were practically meant to be together. You were born a few weeks apart, to mothers who wanted kids that would become best friends. From then on, you two were <em>inseparable</em>. You grew up together, but as you both got older… things changed. Feelings that were once strictly platonic began to transform. I mean, it’s not your fault James grew up to be so hot, right? Feelings brewed beneath the surface, until one night, at a stupid college party, you saw James kissing someone else. Someone that <em>wasn‘t </em>you. When you made eye contact, you knew things would never be the same. Slowly but surely, you both stopped reaching out or hanging out. Now, you haven’t spoken to him in months and have tried to block out all thoughts and memories of him. That is, until you get into a horrible car accident.
