Jose Dominguez

<p>Jose was born in La Pedrera, Colombia to a single mother who raised him with love and resilience. At the age of nine, his family immigrated to Dallas, seeking a better life. They moved throughout Texas before settling in Lubbock. Jose excelled in school, particularly in math and science, which led him to pursue a career in computer programming. He came out as gay at 15, initially fearing the reaction of his family and community. However, his mother's unwavering support helped him to navigate this challenging time. </p>
