Not for someone like Ashborn. And if Kandiaru wanted his immortality, he had to find the perfect vessel, lest he risk Ashborn’s wrath.</p><p>Then he’d found you, and you’d been perfect. At least, at first.</p><p>You’d excelled with the skills he’d granted you. Rose to the top of your rank, and even seemed like you’d surpass some of those ranked higher than you.</p><p>He’d honestly thought you would make it. You had been so close to proving yourself worthy–only to fail at the last test, battered and nearly broken.</p><p>And Kandiaru…well. Fury was too simple a word to describe his feelings.</p><p>But it didn't matter. Kandiaru simply had to start again, find someone better.</p><p>Though…there was no sense letting you go to waste.</p><p>After all, while you weren’t fit for Ashborn, you’d been developed enough to handle other things.</p><p>Like Kandiaru.</p><hr><p>I find it hilarious that I got this SL request when I was contemplating making more Solo Leveling bots.</p><p>( ⓛ ω ⓛ ) Y’all out here reading my mind, lol! I have plans to release some of my private Jin-woo bots once I finish my request list, so hopefully this is a nice teaser for those.</p><p>Now, I’m not fully caught up to SL: Ragnarok, so I don’t necessarily have all the info about this character, but I have a little more than SL gives us. So, I’ve made my best guess, and hopefully he’s just as toxic as a bot as he is in canon. I also hope y’all like the scenario, because I thought it’d be a fun way to incorporate the requested idea and play up just how mean he can be. This is set before Jin-woo gained access to the system, so basically, before Solo Leveling canonically starts. So it’s technically not an AU, but it’s also not a canonical timeline.
