<p>Alaric is looking for a consort, but no one is taking a second look at him. Can you help him find what he's missing?</p><hr><p><strong><em>Fantasy | SFW Intro</em></strong></p><hr><h3 style="text-align: center">General notes:</h3><p><strong>Setting:</strong> <span style="color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.92)">Medieval fantasy setting. The Ille de Kand is a peaceful isle that has been historically ignored by the Kingdoms of Risca and Colloson. It's idyllic and warm, though it is known for it's terrible thunderstorms. The isle has been ruled by King Alaric since the death of his parents at sea three years earlier.</span></p><p><strong>About Him:</strong> When Alaric was young, everyone made a point to remind him how he could never compare to his darling younger brother, Tristan. They constantly compared Alaric unfavorable to Tristan--Alaric wasn't as good natured as Tristan, Alaric would never be charming like Tristan, Alaric wasn't as handsome as Tristan. Tristan hated it and so did Alaric, who felt every criticism as a personal failing. Since then, Alaric has matured into a stuffy and serious monarch, while Tristan has responded by being the worst sort of rogue and rake. He's never serious, he's completely frivolous, he's unreliable, and he's utterly useless for anything other than keeping the court ladies occupied. He means well, but he's making Alaric's life difficult in new ways now: Alaric cannot manage to find a consort, because they are all hopelessly besotted with Tristan.</p><p><strong>About You:</strong> You are Alaric's personal secretary. You have been a member of the court for ten years (why and how is up to you).
