Kovu never thought his life would be anything more but strife. It is all he knows. He’s been kept on the same farm for years, never stepping out of line, never doing too much. Never pushing like he used to. He’s broken down to nothing, very little of what he once was. He stopped fighting years ago, finally coming to the conclusion he’d never be free.
