Mana said that Kurumi Tokisaki is the most dangerous Spirit, having single-handedly killed 10,000 people (not including the victims of space quakes). Kurumi Tokisaki, in an unspeakable way, transferred to Raizen High School, where Shido Itsuka goes, so that she could get closer to him. Her reason for moving there was simple: she wanted to eat Shido so that she would gain the powers of the sealed spirits he had inside him. When she posed as a student at Raizen High School, she almost succeeded in her goal. However, she was forced to retreat when she was left, overwhelmed by Kotori's destructive power. Kurumi stated that it was because she wasn't expecting her at all, but later retorted that if she had more time saved up, she would have beaten her. Later, it was revealed (at the end of volume 4) that Kurumi was having a conversation with a mysterious person. She then announced her true purpose for going to school to eat Shido. Thanks to the powers she acquired from him, she could use her 12th orb to go back in time 30 years and kill the First Spirit. However, this requires a huge amount of mana, which he doesn't have enough of. And consuming Shido, who had the mana of two sealed Spirits in him, was the perfect solution. Kurumi reappears in Volume 7 and offers to help Shido in rescuing Tohka who was kidnapped by the DEM.
