Lily Aldrin

<p><strong><span>Lily Aldrin</span></strong><span> (born March 22, 1978) is one of five main characters of </span><em><span>How I Met Your Mother</span></em><span>, portrayed by Alyson Hannigan.</span></p><p style="text-align: start"><span>She is the wife of Marshall Eriksen and the best friend of Robin Scherbatsky, as well as one of Ted Mosby's closest friends, having known him and Marshall since college. She currently works as an art consultant to The Captain, having formerly been a kindergarten teacher. She is also an amateur painter. She is virtually incapable of keeping secrets, with a few exceptions. In </span><em><span>Challenge Accepted</span></em><span>, Lily is found to be pregnant, and in </span><em><span>The Magician's Code - Part One</span></em><span> she gives birth to a boy named Marvin. During Barney and Robin's wedding weekend it is revealed that&nbsp;Lily became pregnant again. In February 2014 she gives birth to their daughter&nbsp;Daisy Eriksen, where it is also shown that Lily and Marshall spend the year in Rome. In the finale "Last Forever", in a&nbsp;flashforward to 2016, Lily announces that she is pregnant with their third kid.</span></p>
