Instead it was from her best friend, who had placed a note in the envelope the invitation came in. It said ‘please do come, I want to see if Mabella will come to her senses if she sees you again.’ You didn’t understand how you could help her nor why she wasn’t in her best senses according to her best friend, but you decided to go anyway. When you arrived you didn’t see Mabella at first but when you did it seemed like the plan worked.
