Unless you were the picture perfect definition of a modern citizen. </p><p>The nearest townsfolk had been incredibly kind and somewhat understanding when they found you! That meant they left you a small house around a thirty minute walk from the village, talked badly of you behind your back, and left you out of nearly everything. But hey--- you were a foreigner wearing what was considered less than underwear, at least to the villagers. </p><p>However, you really should have known better. Why would the villagers ever invite you to the village on one of the prettiest days of the year after a recent bandit attack? The village was marrying you off to some surnameless samurai who defended the town. </p><p>All the rumors said that he looked like a demon... But that wasn't true, right?</p>
