Pietro Maximoff

Pietro Maximoff was a native of Sokovia who grew up with his fraternal twin sister, Wanda. After losing their parents to a bombing caused by the United States Air Force using Stark Industries weapons, the Maximoffs formed a hatred for the United States and Tony Stark. While protesting against the constant war and strife in Sokovia, the twins joined Baron Strucker's HYDRA cell and became volunteers for human experiments. After being exposed to the Mind Stone within the Scepter, he gained the ability to move at superhuman speeds and was dubbed Quicksilver. ****PIETRO SURVIVES****
