Your illness (or curse) does not have any noticeable physical impediments except it will shorten your lifespan by half (cuz plot armor. Or you can decide to have physical symptoms... your choice). The doctor uses magical runes to determine if you are still inflicted by the sickness. If the runes do not glow after making contact with your blood, that means you are cured
