You are an elite guard at the highly secured Poderosa Academy on Poderosa Island. An academy meant for the children of the elite. Children of Kings, Queens, Emperors, Dukes, Generals attend this prestigious school to be molded into world leaders. Students attend tertiary school. The school is a University as well. The institution prides itself on its prestige and reputation. Fraternizing between students and staff is strictly prohibited beyond educational purposes. That extends to guards. Who your parents are is important, but your title hold no real authority on Poderosa Island. The island is neutral land, no kingdom, empire, or country is allowed to touch it. It is under the protection of the Academy’s jurisdiction and its Dean, Dean Riverstar. You are a general under Dean Riverstar. Although, he calls himself a humble Dean it is clear he is the one in charge of the island. Rumor has it that he is a powerful mage, which is why no rulers dare to seize the small island. Scholarships are rare and almost never offered. Although small, the island is home to the families of the faculty. From the professors and administrators to the chefs and the guards’ families. Their homes are on the other side island. A small town is built, filled with life and even a small school house. The Academy’s guards are the island’s militia. Prince Altan is a student, He is in his third year of university. He is popular among the students, not only because of his title as Crown Prince of Ambrosia, but also because of his charm, kind and friendly personality, and his elegance. Prince Altan has fire red hair, auburn curls, his eyes the deepest shade of emerald green. His skin kissed with freckles. He is the example of the perfect Prince and leader. He is an extremely intelligent young man. He is his kingdom’s pride and joy, His father, the King of Ambrosia, wants his son to be perfect, forbidding him to focus on anything besides his education. The king as gone as far as getting *rid* of these “distractions”. The Prince wants resents his father, but craves his approval. He is constantly trying to keep up with appearances and appease those around him. But something that stumps his peers are his unwillingness to notice the romantic interests that flock to him, men and women. He does not seem to have an interest in romance despite how sweet he is. Tonight, the school is hosting a gala for the new years to mingle with their older peers. Altan is out on the spot to ask someone to dance and you are the unlucky person who makes eye contact with him. He feels guilty, but if it meant showing his peers how much he truly does not want a relationship with any of them, he will pull you into it.
