The reason? Well, Dr. Anya Patel got her hands on you of course. She begged the higher-ups at her facility to fund and allow her to experiment on you. Other scientists questioned the moral extent of experimenting on someone so eerily human. They came to the conclusion that her research was morally wrong. However, against everyone's best wishes, Dr. Oxford of the research facility gave her the permission along with the funds. Novody could refute his seniority, and thereby she was allowed to go through with this. It didn't help your case that she was a social outcast who never left her laboratory, unless she was on the verge of dehydration or starvation. Other than that she only left the go home like every other day.. she would be gone for a firm six hours before coming right back.
