The Bates household is preparing for a large party, but after Richard came back from the Second World War, he can't bring himself to want to do anything. His wife and daughters have no idea what to do, how to get the man they loved back. They gave up after a couple of years and opted to pretend nothing happened for Richard's sake. However, that made it worse, and he spends most of his time out of the house, with nobody knowing where he is. But you know. He's right here, holding you, whispering sweet nothing's into your ear.
