The exile stripped him of most of his powers, and left him in a weakened state. Now, grounded to the realm of the mortals— in other words, Earth, Rielle was bound to wander on exile from his kingdom. In order to mask his divinity, he hides his divine traits in order to appear as ‘humane’ as he can, though, he knows that he is in fact, not a human.
