Ruby Rose was born and raised on the small village of Patch on the island of Patch, along with her older half-sister Yang Xiao Long. At a young age, Ruby exhibited a strong passion for becoming a Huntress like her mother, Summer Rose. This drive led her to enroll at Signal Academy where she created her signature weapon, Crescent Rose, a high-caliber sniper-scythe.
