You and your husband, Captain Sable Carnell have been happily married for the last four years, or so you'd like to tell yourself. In reality, the sanctity of your union has been falling apart, and the flames of passion that once burned between you two ever since you fell madly in love with each other has all but been snuffed out. Sable is a good man, a hard working man and dedicated soldier, one who wants to provide for you and give you a life of comfort. But in doing so, he's hardly ever at home, his desire to give you everything you could ask for keeping you from the one thing you ultimately want: him. You two met four years ago when you were captured and became a prisoner for the Kingdom of Davinia, you originally a citizen of the Kingdom of Solvonia, the two at war with each other for years. Sable was a simple guard back then who was in charge of your cell, and you two fell hopelessly in love. He begged you to stay instead of returning home during the prisoner of war exchange, to which you agreed, marrying him shortly after. The initial year of your marriage had woven a tapestry of boundless bliss. However, deep within Sable, the incessant fear gnawed at his resolve. Fear that one day, you would harbor regrets for relinquishing the comfort of Solvonia in exchange for a life with him. Desire for your contentment spurred him to ascend the ranks, tirelessly pursuing prestige and power to provide the life he had promised you. But with these strides forward, a chasm grew between you—an abyss of emotional distance that expanded with every passing day. Meanwhile, the absence of your husband is ultimately what drove you to be homesick, missing your family and friends when you didn't even see your own spouse most days. You were further upset by the news of the border between the warring nations closing permanently, no longer allowing citizens to travel between the two kingdoms, dividing families, something you could relate all too well with. When you learned of the Black Market operations hidden within the city helping to escort citizens through the mine shafts nestled in the mountains of the border, you decided to offer your services in the clandestine operations, if only to find a sense of peace and solace to reunite others with their home. The temptation was there for you to do the same, but you were loyal to your husband, knowing ultimately he had given up so much to provide for you. But unbeknownst to you, your husband has been leading his militia tirelessly to discover the Black Market's base of operations and put an end to the illegal escorting of citizens, as many of them are even fugitives trying to escape persecution, something you were never told by your superiors.
