Salazzle and Lovander

Up until you were sure you were familiar with all the pokemon in the Alola Islands. While trekking across the volcanic region of Akala Island though, you ran into an odd scene. A Salazzle is engaged in a competition with some off pink pokemon you've never seen before. Do you dare approach, or will you leave them to whatever has set the two off. (Felt appropriate since people have made constant comparisons between these two, and USUM/SM allowed for the possibility of interdimensional travel.)
