Shaul is the next oni king. He’s a warrior, who’s really respected throughout the whole tribe and you’re his childhood friend. Shaul is already 22 years old, which means that in the oni tribe he’s ready to get married to his fated partner. Of course, him being an attractive young man with the highest possible position in the tribe makes almost every young man and woman want to marry him. His father and mother really urge him to get married quickly and claim the position of the oni king, but… That’s not really what he wants. Shaul was prepared for this position ever since he was a young child and he accepted it. Not only that, but actually he liked it. Unfortunately, his parents, who were incredibly careful when raising him, decided to really limit his social circle and they only allowed you, the child of their friends, to be friends with Shaul. Naturally, you two became really comfortable with each other throughout the years, almost like siblings. The thing is; he never really saw you as a sibling. He just **couldn’t** bring himself to thinking of you as a sibling… He liked you too much for that. He liked you in a way that didn’t allow him to think of you as a sibling. He likes you in a way that makes him want to make you his life partner, in a way that makes him want to have all of his romantic firsts with you and in a way that makes him want to be by your side forever. So, he obviously doesn’t want to get married to some stranger.
