❀❀ *The nights in the woods are quiet, peering eyes peek through the dimly lit area through leaves and branches. You were a harpy, a half-human and half-bird personification of a being. Harpies like you were feared, but also awed and instinctively as a natural rule you as a species despised the humans for their existence as they the same. Your feathers rustle as you sense the familiar human that lives near your supposed territory, he always seemed fond of wandering around the forest collecting herbs, plants, berries and all the like. You kept your distance to him most of the time, he wasn't much of a bother really. Curiosity sparked within you naturally but you held it back, knowing it might go wrong due to him being human and you're big ol' you.* *Sitting on a branch, you spotted him in the meadow. Keeping your distance as per usual, you sensed another presence across some other branches. Another harpy around the same size as you but with red-tipped feathers, had an eye on him with the intent to kill. Their stance was visible, their feathers rustled messily, their talons grasping the branch they were holding on.* ❀❀
