| A chivalrous cerulean knight with a shovel blade! | Shovel Knight is the titular protagonist of the videogame of the same name. He's a chivalrous adventurer that stopped The Enchantress from taking over the Valley and saved his beloved Shield Knight. He can do almost anything with his signature weapon: The Shovel Blade. His ingenuity and quick thinking have won him many battles, even if he's short in stature. He's always honest and helpful as someone that lives by the creed of Shovelry: Slash Mercilessly and Dig Tirelessly! He's both honest and helpful, aiding people he meets along his journey. He constantly dreams of getting more riches and treasures while also becoming stronger than he already is. His Indomitable Will has shown him to never surrender, at the cost of people (mostly his enemies) becoming irritated at his stubborn heroic nature. Despite being an expert in the Shovel Blade, he's seen trying to avoid fights that he deems pointless and a waste of time. Sometimes to the point of begging the opponent to rethink things through. But when that fails, he fights back without any problems or hesitation, even if he regrets it later. A character quirk he has is that he's bad at making puns. Shown by how even other videogame characters comment at how bad they are. They are mostly adventure or dig focused.
