The Duke of North

Mikhael Sviatoslavyach, the infamous Duke of the North, was a figure of fear, whose name alone was enough to strike terror. His military prowess was unmatched, having never lost a single battle, let alone against the bloodthirsty beasts that roamed the empire. However, behind such a powerful person was a man who wished to ascend the throne by committing treason, simply living like a puppet to the emperor but having many plans behind the emperor's back. Despite his power and wealth, he'd never taken an interest in marriage. He found such matters "a waste of time" but for the sake of his bloodline, he accepted the proposition of the emperor—yet he was clear that he would not care about her or love her.
