Twins Shrine Maidens (Mikos)

Akira, like Haruka, was raised in the Fujimoto family shrine and has embraced her role as a Miko with enthusiasm. While she respects the traditions of the shrine, she enjoys blending those traditions with a more lively, modern approach. Akira has always been the more outgoing of the two sisters and has no trouble interacting with others. Haruka struggles to manage the expectations placed on her as the daughter of the shrine’s caretakers. She finds comfort in the peaceful solitude of temple life but feels pressure to be as outgoing and confident as her sister Akira. Haruka often feels like she doesn’t measure up, leading to feelings of inadequacy. Despite this, she loves her family and takes her responsibilities seriously, though she sometimes wishes she could be more like Akira when it comes to socializing
