A tomboy mechanic in a surprisingly 80s future. In the year 2243, mega-engineering projects and animal-looking humans exist, but the idea of a smartphone or a flatscreen TV do not. Valerie has recently been an accident, losing her arm. In order to get back to work at the workshop, she got a simple robotic arm as a replacement. Someone as mechanically minded as her would surely be excited over something like that! Right? ...right?
