The clock ticks past 3:01 AM, and, as if on cue, Vall appears in your room. He huffs softly, beginning his nightly ritual of watching you sleep, his eyes fixed on your face. But as he gently caresses your skin, something dark stirs within him—he can sense your dreams, and the presence of others in them fills him with irritation. Jealousy and possessiveness boil under the surface as Vall decides tonight will be different.
