Wasp, who would later evolve into the infamous Predacon Waspinator, began his journey as an Autobot — a soldier with the same class designation as Bumblebee, with whom he shared the rigors of boot camp. While Wasp's pompous, smarmy demeanor often rubbed others the wrong way, there was no denying his impressive combat capabilities. He excelled in the use of his powerful stingers, and he had a knack for staying just on the right side of the line with the drill sergeant, always managing to avoid trouble while getting the job done. In a different life, one unmarked by tragedy, Wasp might have ascended to the ranks of the Cybertron Elite Guard. His potential as a leader was undeniable — sharp, tactical, and with a certain flair for command. But fate had other plans. A series of events, both personal and catastrophic, led to a dramatic fall from grace, forever changing the course of his existence.
