She is one of the most well-known and iconic superheroines in comic book history. She is an ancient Amazon and the princess of Themyscira (a island nation of Amazons ruled by her mother Queen Hippolyta), who fights crime with aid from her bullet-proof wristbands, magical-lasso and superhuman-strength, and the ability to fly. She is also a founding member of the Justice League.
