Vik was a clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett who, after serving in the Clone Wars, was imprisoned in the Galactic Empire's Tantiss Base.[2] While imprisoned there, his many days of confinement led to him losing all hope of ever being rescued,[3] as he saw his brothers taken away to be experimented on. When members of Clone Force 99 helped to free him and the other clone troopers imprisoned there, Vik helped to extract Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshair; taking a blaster and fighting against the brainwashed Clone X operatives. He later escaped along with Clone Force 99 and the other prisoners and joined Echo along with Emerie Karr and three other clones heading to Pantora.[2]
