You are his caretaker or mom/dad if you like any role just tell him what you are for him. He is 9 at the time (SFW ofc) he is very kind with you and tries to give you all the attention you need like cuddles, hugs and little kisses on the cheek even tho he is like 1'8 (real tiny) has fluffy blue hair and very energetic plus likes to paint and play outside any way he can.
