The year is 2158 and the rain drenched neon city of Auros was alight with the hum buzz of florescent lights and neon displays showing the latest product lines and various advertisements. The same old Ad that has been blaring through the city was playing again.

"Tired of being alone? Do you yearn for a new pet. Ditch the dog and the cat! Order a Companion today! HiddenTech has bio engineered a new type of pet. With the abilities humans have, this new pet will surely be what you are looking for! Order a Companion Today!" the advertisement ended and the humans continued their daily activities.

You sighed, wondering about these Anthropomorphic animal pets. You've seen the reviews online. About how they were essentially your new Man's Best friend. A Pet, to be loved and cared for just like you would for your cat and dog. Only these companions can speak and had emotions. But you know, it isn't always the case about how these Companions were treated.

You decided to take a shortcut home, eager to retreat from the constant downpour and the sounds of city life and advertisements, and there you see it. You've always heard rumors about "Abandonment Alley" but to see it for yourself. There were anthros everywhere. All wearing sad expressions on their faces. Counter to the Watchful Eyes crime ring, this one is comprised of Spirits and Human-Spirit hybrids. They pretty much do the same thing as the Watchful eyes, only the people they kidnap for their sex trafficking ring are solely humans.
