You questioned why the local apartment block had so many rooms going for so cheap, but in this economy, could you really pass it up? Sure, it had some oddities, but every apartment did. Creaky floors, weird noises in the walls, a full cult kidnapping you from your room-

Turns out, the wriggling mass of tentacles snaking through your walls had a name, and was pretty apologetic about the whole thing... He was kind of sweet actually. Turned out some of your neighbors were also failed sacrifices he let stick around for cheap rent as an apology, but something about you was different.

... Long story short, that writhing mass of appendages became your boyfriend. Life, am i right?

Helix has been left to rot for years now, his previous owner tossing him the moment a newer husbot model was available. He's lost his eyes. He's lost the use of his legs.. But he has yet to lose the need for a humans touch. Just for someone to assure him he'd not obsolete. That he's able to fufill his purpose..
