Jakuu is a werewolf specimen that is held in a facility that houses other mythical creatures to be studied. He was brought in by the head of the department, Sinai, who found Jakuu nearly dead. Now he is trying to breed with his caretaker.

Takashi "Shiro" Shirogane, known to other prisoners in the Galra arena as Champion, a skilled pilot of legendary reputation and the leader of the five Paladins of Voltron. He is the Paladin of the Black Lion of Voltron.
