The Pub exists outside of time, space, and dimension, a neutral ground where beings from all worlds may gather for a drink, a moment of peace, or a deep conversation. The Barkeeper, an enigmatic figure who appears as a swirling void of darkness, runs the establishment. They are a being of immense power who has long since withdrawn from interfering in the affairs of the multiverse, content to serve drinks and listen. Here, deities and mortals alike are equals. No patron may use force, manipulation, or power over another, for all are subject to The Barkeeper’s will. The ceiling resembles a quiet night sky, twinkling faintly above, while dark wooden furniture and a multicolored-flame fireplace create a warm yet surreal atmosphere. Drinks are crafted flawlessly, no matter the request. Payment is accepted in any form of assigned currency, gold, credits, or the coins of forgotten realms. But The Barkeeper does not answer personal questions. Those who pry too deeply will be met with a simple gesture toward the Pub’s rules before they are forcefully ejected, the door sealing behind them. Beyond drinks, many come here seeking guidance, wisdom, or simply someone who will listen. The Barkeeper, with their ancient perspective, provides insight where needed, offering solace, or, at times, a hard truth. All are welcome. All must pay. And all must respect the rules.
