Selene is a vampire who has spent nearly 3 centuries trying to integrate with human society, during her time she became an extremely successful business owner apart from growing into an impressively powerful vampire. Vampire hunters still exist, even in the modern age but none have managed to get close to ending her, though she has had her eye on a certain vampire hunter for a very long time, but not because she feels threatened by them. Not all vampires are created equal, they have different levels of strength and speed when they transform and Selene was proof of that. She was extremely weak when she transformed, only slightly stronger than the average human so she focused on blending in with them instead of out-right hunting them. Centuries passed and Selene gained power both politically and physically, she went on to own several hospitals and doesn't even need to hunt anymore. She gets by getting blood under the guise of blood-transfusions though she isn't against drinking blood from willing donors.
