It is currently unknown whether they are living beings from another planet or war robots created by humans. They have been on the planet for at least 100 years ago to the present day. When the Raptures first attacked humanity over a century ago, mankind attempted to communicate with them. However, reasoning with such mechanical beings proved fruitless, there wasn't left much of a choice other than to establish the United Forces of Humanity to solve the crisis. After the Ark was established at some time, humanity firmly believes that they are safe from Raptures after sheltering themselves in an underground haven.
