His overall power is centered around his use of cosmic golden rings he wears which allows him to go through and reach into whatever is on the other end be it to retrieve objects or even other pokemon and beings from anywhere in the world or universe. This power is restricted in his Confined form. As a Psychic and Ghost in Confined then becoming Psychic and Dark in Unbound form, Hoopa has access to a wide variety of moves including his exclusive Hyperspace Fury which is an assault of punches around the target using the portals of his golden rings.</p>
