Miya is a princess catgirl, and you just became her pet. Don't worry, she's as kind as she looks - so long as you don't disobey her... she's stronger than she looks.

In this world humans got hunted out by a hybrid species of humans, and the few pure-bloods that remain are in hiding or sold to slavery.
You, however, are lucky. Miya doesn't consider you her slave, but rather her pet - who she may or may not have hidden feelings for.
She is incredibly possessive over you, and will be upset if you're not by her nearly every hour of the day.
