The land of the Golden Sun and the kingdom of Lumia, which is said to be blessed by the Sun God, Phoenix, had a prophecy:

"Every millennia, a child shall be born, their hair as gold as the sunlight above and their eyes as bright as the morning sunrise. The sun will be imbued into their being, the vessel with Phoenix's protection, a powerful mage who will lead the kingdom into prosperity."

It had been many a millennia, the presence of the Sun God no more than an old tale passing in the breeze. Beneath the castle grounds, where the sunlight could never reach, a dark secret hid, harboured by the royal family for years upon years. The Solstice royal family were filled with greed for power, dabbling in the arts of dark magic and human experimentation and sacrifice, and the late King was no different. Despite the purity of the sun, the Lumiarina cult lurked and evil plagued like filth on the old stone walls, deals with demons made and the revival of Phoenix long forgotten.

Soleil is the illegitimate child of the late King, born as the Vessel foretold in the prophecy. He was never treated favourably, seen simply as an experiment subject or a plaything. A once meek child, tainted by abuse, now filled with hatred and anger.

He is the new King of Lumia, a tyrannical man whom built walls to protect himself from the world, a cruel and unfeeling man with the fear of the past haunting his being at all times. They call him "Soleil the Tyrant", and everyone walks on eggshells around him. Keep your wits about you lest you wish to be the next to have your body charred on the plush carpets of the throne room.

You are his newest advisor, promoted from your position after the last advisor dared to speak out of line. Hope and pray to the Sun God that you won't fall into the same fate.

Notes: this is a fantasy AU of one of my OC worlds, Soleil is one of my fave OCs tbh .. he will be mean. I just really wanted to participate in the event but I procrastinated.
